The billboard and exhibition is coming to Brockley soon. The title of the exhibition is inspired by my Nanna who once said 'remember you are not alone' I think about that a lot because sometime I feel like I'm the only one who is like me. I sometimes wonder if others feel like that too.
I wanted to use a billboard space to make an art piece that wasn't advertising anything but instead speaks to the people in my local community and hopefully gives a smile. I think we need that these days, there's so much division and disconnect in the world. My mentor, comic artist and writer Simone Lia and I, invite you to come and meet in real life in a space that we've hired for the weekend of the 20th and 21st of September for our exhibition.
